Christopher W. Cabrera

Christopher Cabrera is a seasoned executive with more than 16 years of successful senior management experience at both early-stage and public companies where he has managed sales, marketing, operations, and business development. Most recently, Mr. Cabrera was the senior vice president of operations for Callidus Software (NASDAQ: CALD), a leading provider of enterprise incentive compensation management systems to global companies. At Callidus he was responsible for the execution of worldwide sales and marketing strategies, customer advocacy and strategic alliances with companies such as IBM, Accenture and Deloitte. Under his leadership, the company acquired more than 100 customers contributing to the growth of annual revenues from zero to greater than $75 million and a successful IPO in 2003 raising more than $70 million.

Prior to joining Callidus Software, Mr. Cabrera worked as director of North American channel sales at Silicon Graphics (NYSE: SGI), a Unix hardware and software vendor, where he was responsible for annual sales of over $500 million.

Mr. Cabrera earned a bachelor of science degree in business administration with an emphasis in entrepreneurship from the University of Southern California and a masters degree in business administration from Santa Clara University.

Carol Mills

Independant Director and Board Chair

Mills has spent over 30 years in the enterprise software and technology sector and is also currently on the Boards of Adobe Systems, Blue Coat Systems and Tekelec.

Prior to these roles, she was CEO of Acta Technology, a private enterprise data infrastructure supplier acquired by Business Objects. She was also EVP/General Manager of the $1.5B Infrastructure Products Group at Juniper Networks and VP/General Manager of the $6B Commercial Unix Systems at Hewlett Packard.

She holds an M.B.A. degree from Harvard University and a B.A. degree from Smith College.

Gerald S. Casilli

Gerald Casilli brings over 23 years of high technology private equity experience, 16 years of CEO experience and over 30 years of Board of Director experience to Rembrandt Ventures. This background has provided him with a unique and comprehensive insight into the full life cycle of a company from initial incubation to market maturity.

Mr. Casilli was a founding member and general partner of Trinity Ventures. Prior to founding Trinity Mr. Casilli was a founding member and general partner of Genesis Capital. These highly successful funds focused on investments in early stage high technology companies. Mr. Casilli served on the board of directors of over 20 companies, both public and private, including NASDAQ companies Evans & Sutherland, Cepheid Systems, Ikos Systems and Identix Corporation.

In 1973, Mr. Casilli founded Millennium Systems, a manufacturer of microprocessor development systems, and served as its President and CEO. He guided the company to a successful merger with American Micro Systems in 1982. Mr. Casilli served as chairman of the board of directors of IKOS Systems (NASDAQ: IKOS) from 1989 through to its merger with Mentor Graphics in 2002. He served as its chief executive officer from 1989 to 1995 during which he took the company public.

Mr. Casilli is a founding member of the Band of Angels, an organization that actively invests in early stage technology companies. The Band consists of over 125 members comprised of Silicon Valley-based technology executives. Mr. Casilli holds a BSEE degree from the University of Pittsburgh.

Earl E. Fry

Chief Financial Officer and Secretary
Informatica Corporation

Earl E. Fry is chief financial officer and secretary of Informatica Corporation (NASDAQ: INFA), a leading provider of data integration software. A financial-management veteran who has led the financial growth of successful public and private technology companies, Mr. Fry joined Informatica in January 2000.

Prior to joining Informatica, Mr. Fry served for four years as vice president and chief financial officer at Omnicell, a provider of supply chain management solutions to the healthcare industry. He previously held the position of vice president, chief financial officer and treasurer at C-ATS Software, a provider of risk-management products for global financial institutions, and chief financial officer at Weitek Corporation, a semiconductor company.

Mr. Fry began his career in public accounting with Ernst & Young. He received a masters degree in business administration degree from the Stanford Graduate School of Business and a bachelor of business administration in accounting from the University of Hawaii.

Mr. Fry also serves on the board of Central Pacific Financial Corp. (NYSE: CPF), a Hawaii-based bank holding company.

Neal Dempsey

Neal launched his venture capital career in 1989 at Bay. Through cycles of change, Neal’s investment thesis has been to find entrepreneurs with domain expertise and the fine art of listening. At the end of the day, customers decide whether startups will succeed or not and without listening to customers, entrepreneurs are seldom successful. This thesis has served him well through investments in category creating companies like Brocade, Informatica and Shiva.

Neal balances the stresses of his workload by giving back to the community.  In addition to serving as Managing General Partner at Bay, he serves on the Board of EMQ Children and Family Services (a.k.a. Eastfield Ming Quong). Neal's leadership helped establish the Entrepreneurship and Innovation Program at the University of Washington Business School. Neal made the largest gift ever from an alumnus to the University of Washington.

Last but not least, Neal is a passionate college sports fan. He is very actively involved with The University of Washington basketball and football programs. To support these athletic programs at his alma matter, Neal sponsored the Dempsey Indoor Training Stadium at the University of Washington.

Cindy Padnos

Director

Cindy Padnos is a director with Outlook Ventures and is the founding Managing Director of Illuminate Ventures, an early-stage venture capital firm. Her experience and focus encompasses cloud computing, SaaS, technology-enabled services, mobile and Internet/Web 2.0 sectors.

Prior to joining the venture capital community, Ms Padnos gained almost 20 years of operational experience including as the founder and CEO of on-demand services procurement software company Vivant Corporation (Acq. EVLV) and as president and CEO of Acumen (Pvt. M&A), a privately held performance management software company.

Ms. Padnos previously held sales and marketing management positions in several technology companies including vice president of marketing at Scopus Technology (IPO, later acquired by Siebel), at software tools vendor IDE, database provider Ingres and at AT&T.

Ms. Padnos earned her bachelor of arts, magna cum laude, from the University of Michigan and received her MBA/MSIA with honors from Carnegie Mellon University's Tepper School of Business.  She serves on the boards of privately held companies CalmSea, BrightEdge and WildPockets and on the advisory boards for the Tepper School of Business and Astia.  In 2010 Ms. Padnos was honored to be named by Fast Company as one of the Most Influential Women in Technology.

David W. Pidwell

David W. Pidwell has been a venture partner at Alloy Ventures since 1996. In 1987 Mr. Pidwell founded Rasna Corporation, a mechanical design automation software company financed by the partners at Alloy Ventures. He was president and chief executive officer until 1995 when Parametric Technology (NASDAQ: PMTC) acquired the firm.

Prior to Rasna, Mr. Pidwell was employed by ROLM Corporation for 14 years. He received a bachelor of science degree in electrical engineering and a master of science degree in computer systems engineering from Ohio University and completed three years of work at Stanford University on a doctorate in engineering economic systems.

Mr. Pidwell is currently a director of Informatica (NASDAQ: INFA) as well as a number of privately held companies.

John P. Ward, Jr.

Managing Director
Key Venture Partners

John is a managing director with Key Venture Partners with a focus on communications, data services and information technology businesses.

Mr. Ward joined the firm in late 2006. Previously, he was a General Partner at M/C Venture Partners and was responsible for leading investments in the communications and IT industries. His investments and board level responsibilities included Fusepoint Managed Services, Vertical Communications, Intellireach, Nuvox Communications, Attenda Ltd., Hyperformix, and Securemedia. Prior to joining M/C Venture Partners, Mr. Ward was a Vice President at BancBoston Ventures where he had been focused on early stage venture capital investing in information technology, communications, and healthcare companies. Previously, Mr. Ward held operating roles at Fidelity Investments in sales and marketing, and spent five years as an officer with United States Naval Intelligence.

Mr. Ward earned his bachelor of arts from Middlebury College, received his masters in business administration from Dartmouth College and earned a masters of public administration from Harvard University.

Mr. Ward currently serves as a board member of Axentis, Fusion Media Group, Insight Direct, and Whitmanhart.
