XACTLY CORPORATION ANNOUNCES 4th STRAIGHT YEAR
OF RECORD BUSINESS PERFORMANCE
Leader In On-Demand Sales Performance Management Grows Revenue By 50 Percent, Nearly Triples Customers And Subscribers
SAN JOSE, CA — January 26, 2010—Xactly Corporation, the leader in on-demand sales performance management (SPM), today announced its fourth consecutive year of record performance, with significant gains in all aspects of the business.
In the 12 months ending December 31, 2009, Xactly increased worldwide recognized revenues by more than 50 percent over 2008. The company also nearly tripled its number of customers and subscribers, including a sharp increase in international customers.

Other significant company accomplishments in 2009 included:
- Acquisition of key competitor. Xactly acquired its largest competitor, Centive, combining to become the software industry’s largest provider of 100-percent on-demand sales performance management (SPM) solutions. The synergies from combining the two companies have offered significant value to customers, including a broad portfolio of purely on-demand SPM solutions, decades of domain expertise, and an experienced partner ecosystem.

- Delivered key innovations on product roadmap. Xactly revolutionized sales performance management for small-to-medium (SMB) businesses by launching Incent Express™, a powerful self-service sales compensation application built natively on the Force.com platform for Salesforce CRM customers. Incent Express extends the value of a company’s investment in Salesforce CRM by enabling them to rapidly create sales compensation plans, calculate commissions, and export payments to payroll, all from a single, easy-to-use application.
Xactly also delivered the first on-demand solution for territory management and credit assignment. Xactly Territories™, the latest addition to the Xactly SPM Suite, enables companies to manage sales territory definitions, approvals and credit assignment. Using Xactly Territories, companies can leverage real-time, actionable data and assign proper credit for compensation. With built-in workflow functionality, companies can create workflows which improve visibility throughout the hierarchy and result in greater payment precision.
- Signed marquee new customers. Nearly tripling both its customer and subscriber bases in 2009, Xactly continued to bring the transformative power of on-demand sales performance management to such leading companies as AlliedBarton, Billing Tree, BSI Management, Compellent, Guardium, JMP Securities, InsideView, Life Technologies, Lumenis, OpenText, Qliktech, Siemens, Sonora Quest Laboratories, Taleo, Verisign, and William Scotsman.
- Increased business with existing customers. Proving the value received by their Xactly implementations, the company maintained a renewal rate of more than 90%. In addition, more than a third of the company’s customers added additional subscribers or modules. These include 3COM, Akamai, Blackboard, Cablevision, DHL, Dun & Bradstreet, Forrester, Motorola, Rackspace, Salesforce.com and Time Warner Cable.
- Strengthened strategic partner relationships. Xactly was chosen by salesforce.com to be a member of their CRM Accelerate Program, a select group of strategic salesforce.com partners offering highly integrated solutions for salesforce.com customers. In addition, Xactly continued its strong relationship with Oracle as a member of their CRM On Demand Inner Circle, an elite group of key partners forming an integrated ecosystem of complimentary solutions offering extended value to Oracle CRM On Demand customers. Xactly is the only SPM solution represented in each program.
- Received overwhelming industry recognition. Xactly was recognized for both outstanding company and product performance in 2009, taking home top honors in:
