Xactly headquarters is located in the heart of downtown San Jose. Right between the iconic purple Children’s Discovery Museum and the the SAP Center (home of the NHL San Jose Sharks) sits the Xactly offices. If you haven’t visited us yet you may not know that a river runs directly across from the entrance of our building. Since moving here last April employees have enjoyed the scenic outdoor seating near the Guadalupe River. As a way to give back and improve the immediate area around our building, the XactlyOne committee and a few select champions worked with the City of San Jose to organize a River Cleanup. The River Cleanup was held this past Friday, May 6th. Before we set out, the City of San Jose’s Environmental Services department decked us out with necessary tools and the Santa Clara County Park Rangers did a quick training and taught us a bit of history of the area we were about to clean. About 30 Xactly employees blocked off their calendars and spent the morning bettering our local community by picking up trash. We collected over 20 bags of trash that would have otherwise floated downstream and into the San Francisco Bay. It was a great morning and another successful XactlyOne event. Thank you to all the volunteers that took time out of their busy schedules and to the City of San Jose and the Santa Clara County Park Rangers for preparing us for this activity. XactlyOne organizes volunteer opportunities and projects for employees, and encourages them to take action and donate their time and talents in their local neighborhoods. XactlyOne volunteers strive to make a meaningful impact and create positive changes, and the rewarding experience of helping others further strengthens the Xactly team.
