CompCloud 2017: Day 2 Recap
Every year CompCloud, our annual compensation industry event, gets more fun and more valuable to attendees looking to be on the cutting edge of compensation. This year has been no exception.

And while day one featured new product announcements and huge advances in sales performance data tools, the second day of CompCloud didn’t fail to deliver.

Maximizing Your Incentive Compensation Program
Xactly President & COO Evan Ellis got the day rolling with an insightful and compelling keynote entitled “Maximizing Your Incentive Compensation Program.”
Ellis and a panel made up of finance and sales leaders from DXC Technology, Epiq Systems, and National Instruments discussed the compensation challenges and successes each organization has faced.
At the center of this talk, was Xactly’s own ambitious vision: “Every company incenting right.” What does “incenting right” mean? Ellis described this vision as a perfect world in which “every variable compensation program is automated.”
For Ellis and the panel, Xactly’s automation has teams closing the books quicker, automatically creating audit trails, and easily setting accrual rates—all while giving sales reps visibility into their pay and performance.
Quoting yesterday’s guest speaker Amy Purdy, Ellis reflected that “If you visualize it strong enough, then you’ll feel it.” This feeling is one that Ellis believes Xactly provides its customers:

To close out day 2, Xactly’s CCO Bernie Kassar and CMO Micheline Nijmeh presented key customers with X-Factor awards celebrating excellence in distinct compensation categories. Some of the winners included:
