This week I was lucky enough to sit down with our resident Senior Field Marketing Manager extraordinaire, Stacie Parr, to discuss our upcoming annual user event, CompCloud. She shared with me why this year’s event is set to be the most intriguing and action-packed yet. Q: This is the sixth year Xactly has hosted CompCloud. What makes this event a must-attend compared to previous years? A: Each year CompCloud offers attendees something unique while still holding on to our central goal of helping companies leverage incentive compensation to drive meaningful business results. This year differentiated learning tracks will ensure that everyone who attends gets the most practical knowledge tailored to their specific needs. Q: Which speaking sessions are you most excited to hear? A: Don’t make me pick just one! Really, the line-up is world-class. Peter Diamandis has changed the way people think about the power and potential of incentives, and I’m looking forward to hearing his thoughts on motivation and solving the world’s problems one incentive at a time. I’d encourage prospective attendees to check out the line up! Q: What made you choose the Hyatt Regency for the locale? A: It was so nice we had to do it twice! We got great feedback from those who were in attendance last year, and it’s tough to beat the view of the water and Bay Bridge right outside your window. The Hyatt staff was so accommodating and professional and made us feel so at home we knew we wanted to make it the location of our event again. Hyatt is also an Xactly customer and it’s great to work with companies that we have a strong established relationship with. Q: What kinds of certifications are available this year? A: Optional sessions on Monday and Wednesday are open for you to take your knowledge of Incent and/or Analytics to the next level. At CompCloud Incent Level 1& 2 as well as Analytics 1 &2 can be taken. Q: What’s your personal favorite thing about CompCloud? A: I really enjoy the customer appreciation party- don’t get me wrong the sessions, networking, and certifications are priceless, but getting the opportunity to network in a relaxed setting and kick-back with our prospects, customers, and colleagues is extremely fulfilling. Some of the best dialogue and strategy sharing can happen over hors d'oeuvre and cocktails.
