You Know You're in Sales Ops When...

3 min read

Once upon a time, we had the opportunity to sit down with our Sales Ops team and talk to them about the ins and outs of their department. Our mission? To find out what they love, and what makes them want to pull their hair out. We've made a habit of meeting face to face with other departments, because we want to produce content for everyone - if you're a fan of that, and let's be honest, you totally are, you can check out our origin story here. So, without further ado, we'd like to present you with 12 ways to tell that you're in Sales Ops:

1. This is how you feel when the long crazy hours at the end of the quarter are finally over:

2. You are a data-juggling master:

3. You hear sales reps coming to your desk and this is how you react…

4.The. Questions. Are. Never. Ending.

5. You own reports. Reports are your middle name. No one does reports like you:

6. This is how you wish you could convince people to update their CRM:

7. The face you make when there are no errors on a report generated by one of your users....

8. You’ve responded to an email, and the recipient asks the same question even though you JUST sent the update that answers their question!

9. You’ve showed someone how to find a report in the CRM system and they actually remember how!

10. When you have to repeatedly tell people to refresh their dashboard...

11. You are mistaken for Finance daily. “Hey, I never received my commission check…”

12. Every day is a fire drill...
