Can you believe Dreamforce ’16 ends this afternoon? This year’s event flew by, and we can’t believe another Dreamforce is in the books. We are so glad to have been a part of yet another amazing year of this awesome show! This year’s convention brought us a stellar cast of speakers and presentations, a vibrant and energetic show floor, and a wealth of opportunities to spend time with old friends and make new ones, all across the city. So for those opportunities and those experiences we say thank you Dreamforce; we can’t wait to see you next year.

We would also like to extend a big thank you to everyone who visited us at our booth, came to the Xactly Kickback, and attended our speaking sessions. We had a blast laughing and talking with you, and I know I personally loved taking your pictures for our Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter. The participation and involvement of people like you is what keeps us coming back bigger and better each year, so thank you for being the true highlight of our show.

Attending an amazing #xactlyloveme customer party on Tuesday night. Guests enjoyed National Taco Day, delicious margaritas made my a local mixologist, and as always plenty of time chatting with friends and peers.

Seeing demos, messaging, and signage for Salesforce Lightning.

At Dreamforce (#DF16), our CTO and SVP of Engineering, Ron Rasmussen showcased a new integration with Salesforce, Xactly, and Google Gmail that will make your email a much more useful place.With Lightning components from Salesforce and Xactly, your company can integrate core CRM and sales enablement features directly into Google Gmail allowing you to see the estimated commission value of each opportunity, without ever leaving your email window. For example, you can be emailing a prospect and clearly see within your email browser that the commission potential on the deal in progress is $10,000.

Working at Xactly’s booth. Those who had the opportunity to staff the booth in Moscone South greatly enjoyed the energy that comes from talking with customers, prospects, and friends of Xactly who were eager to learn more about new offerings and updates.

Kicking back at the Kickback. Anyone who attended Dreamforce knows it can be sensory overload. We loved having a place to meet with peers in a more laid back environment. The Kickback had everything we needed to survive the event, including recharging areas, relaxation stations, and a ‘survival bar’ with all those necessities that are so easy to forget to pack.

Dreamforce as a whole: Salesforce put on an amazing show. From the signage, to the creative sitting areas, to the camaraderie they built, and the philanthropy they supported. It’s no wonder Dreamforce continues to be the SaaS event of the year.
