We’re delighted to announce that Xactly has been awarded a Great Place to Work certification for the eighth time! We are thankful and humbled to be recognized for our company’s culture by not only an outside organization but most importantly, our own workforce.

Putting C.A.R.E. into Focus

Since our founding in 2005, Xactly Founder and CEO, Chris Cabrera has made sure that culture was at the heart of our company. He wanted to ensure that the company’s core values were not just words on a whiteboard, but instead were part of everything we did and centered around creating a positive, ambitious workplace environment. That’s why he created our four core—or as we call them—C.A.R.E. Values.

These values stand for Customer Focus, Accountability, Respect, and Excellence. They are woven into Xactly’s business goals and encourage employees to embrace our different backgrounds, work together well, and show up as our best selves. We also think that the workplace these values help create is a significant part of why we have received this prestigious award administered by Great Place to Work.

Providing our employees with Learning and Development opportunities is paramount to our success. We continuously roll out new opportunities and have made a full course catalog available to all employees intended to cultivate and develop talent globally. We also just released a new development opportunity this year called Ceresa, a best-in-class leadership accelerator and mentor program. Ceresa is a nine-month leadership development journey combining structured curriculum, executive coaching, and high-impact, external mentorship, delivered virtually via an easy-to-use platform. Ceresa will complement Xactly’s corporate learning curriculum

In the last year, Xactly has implemented additional programs to care for our employees and ensure our strong culture was maintained even when we were unable to be together in person. Over the last 365+ days, we've taken on several initiatives to improve our employees’ experience at Xactly, including:

Wellness: Expanded our wellness offerings, including fitness, financial health, nutrition content, and company-wide challenges and resources. We offered complimentary meditation and yoga sessions regularly, and a significant portion of our wellness budget was used to enhance Xactly’s wellness platform, free of charge. “Mental Health Days” continued in light of COVID-19 to encourage our employees to disconnect from work. Internal social channels (Slack) were used to showcase wellness day activities with colleagues.

Enhanced  Communication & Virtual Team Building: Forums were established making it easy for employees to gain access to leaders—this included an “Ask the CEO” Slack channel, virtual new hire orientation, virtual all hands/leadership meetings, and short video vignettes' from leaders.

We also conducted regular team-building events including trivia games during lunch that brought employees together to connect, have fun, and engage with their colleagues across the organization. Our C.A.R.E Giver Affinity group hosted regular storytime reading events for the children of Xactly employees. Last and certainly not least, virtual “coffee chats'' were also in place to encourage camaraderie between our employees that wouldn’t have regularly met otherwise. 

EAP Program: Our Employee Assistance Program (EAP) offerings were expanded and enhanced.

Financial Wellness: A monetary stipend was put in place to help our employees set up their personal/home office space. 

Remote Work: We emphasized flexibility with the new “Work (Almost) Anywhere” policy.
