Xactly Innovation Update: News from #DF16 You Can’t Miss An acquisition, artificial intelligence, analytics…there has certainly been no shortage of news in the first 48 hours of Dreamforce ’16. More than 170,000 people are soaking in the week at what is without question the cloud and sales tech’s largest stage. Once again, Xactly is proud to be in the middle of the action – with multiple locations at the show and a half dozen speaking slots. A core focus of the show has also been around Salesforce’s partner community – in fact, the company even changed their technology partner nomenclature. ISVs from this time forth will be regarded as “App Innovation Partners.” Xactly has long been part of this crew – launching at Dreamforce a decade ago and being one of the early partners on the AppExchange (and STILL one of the highest rated in our space!). Embracing this theme, Xactly has announced several innovations this week that will help our partners embrace the larger app ecosystem to get more efficiency, insights, and results from their business applications. Here’s what you need to know:
- Xactly Connect™ Open Platform: By extending our Open Connect Platform, we are empowering independent software vendors (ISVs) to build richer enterprise applications and deliver better experiences and value to their customers. Using public APIs, partners can place popular data and features from Xactly into their applications. For example, users can place the Xactly Incentive Estimator directly into Salesforce CPQ (formerly SteelBrick) to enable sales teams to estimate potential commissions against their pipeline and then easily generate proposals, contracts, and invoices. Not only does this help reps understand how they can maximize their own commission, it helps companies drive behavior that is in-line with corporate goals.
- Pre-Built Integrations with Salesforce: In a similar vein, Xactly announced pre-built integrations with Salesforce through the Xactly Connect™ Open Platform. Enabling a seamless flow of data and extending functionality between Salesforce and Xactly, customers can get the intelligence they need to power better selling. For instance, Salesforce Wave Analytics users can pull in essential information from Xactly, analyze it and deliver insights via custom reports. This provides stakeholders a holistic view of sales performance – from the initial point of contact through to the commission payment. No one can deny that better end-to-end transparency will help us all do our jobs better.
