As Xactly has grown, we’ve expanded our vision beyond incentive compensation to more accurately reflect what we do—provide end-to-end sales performance management (SPM). As a result, we recently created a new vision for Xactly: “Unleashing human potential to maximize company performance.”
When you look at the definition of “unleash,” it’s clear that to truly unleash potential, you must open up the possibility of creating something that has never happened before. So we asked, “How does Xactly do this?”
When Xactly was founded 14 years ago, we focused on helping companies build and automate compensation plans by providing an easy-to-use cloud incentive compensation management (ICM) solution. Back then, this was the most effective way for companies to stay ahead and outsmart competitors.
Today, the business landscape has changed—it’s fast-paced and highly competitive. ICM is imperative for every company, and frankly automating the commission process is now table stakes. While incentives are at the core of all sales organizations, to achieve success, companies must go beyond ICM. Sales Performance Management helps companies unleash their sales team’s potential. That’s the promise of SPM—helping companies motivate employees to achieve results that they’ve never been able to accomplish before.
We’ve long been working on our mission to provide an end-to-end SPM solution by expanding our product suite. Over the past two years, we’ve grown our service offerings to help companies achieve strategic sales planning and ASC 606 compliance with the acquisitions of OpsPanda and Obero. The most innovative and successful sales organizations focus on creating excellent plans, developing effective territories and quotas, and leveraging data to inform decision making. To do this they need a strategic SPM solution.
That leads us to our big announcement.
We are re-shaping our annual user conference and have changed the name of the event from Xactly CompCloud to Xactly Unleashed. With all the excitement and best practices from CompCloud, Xactly Unleashed will be the ultimate Sales Performance Management (SPM) summit.
