Meet Trevor Radbill, the Senior Commissions Manager at Toast who transformed the company's sales compensation from the ground up. When Trevor joined Toast four years ago, there was no dedicated commissions team, and processes were run manually in spreadsheets. Q: Could you tell us about your role and background?

A: Trevor is the Senior Commissions Manager at Toast, a Boston-based company, where he has been employed for about four years.

Q: What do you love about sales compensation?

A: Trevor loves the complexity and the cross-functional nature of the role. It allows him to work with many different departments, including finance, sales operations, marketing, and sales leadership, which provides him with a comprehensive view of the entire company's operations.

Q: What are you proud of in your compensation career?

A: Trevor is most proud of building the compensation team and processes at Toast from the ground up. When he started, compensation was managed manually in Excel.
