I love everyone at Xactly — our whole team, our Customer Success team, our TAM, even our sales reps. Everyone keeps us fully informed and makes sure everything is working. It just works really well.
If you’re still doing work on Excel or homegrown, I would highly encourage you to look at an automated system. Not only will you have better reporting and analytics to understand where you are spending your money, but it will definitely help with the work-life-balance. Compensation is pretty complicated. You have people coming, you have people going, you’ve got quotas changing, people getting promoted…you need to have a system of record to manage all that. If you are doing it homegrown or you are doing it [by] managing it manually, it is going to get to the point where the scalability is not there.
Utilize that online 'Xactly Community' page. There is so much content and so many resources there. A lot of it is really easy to use from a self-service standpoint.
I’ve worked with Xactly for about six years at this point, and something that has been an evolution for me is how I’ve engaged with the Xactly team and the additional resources that they have available. I found it really helpful to be in contact with my CSM and approach him with questions. He’s been really engaged. That’s not something I did early on with Xactly and that’s really been a game changer.
It’s been a very collaborative experience with Xactly…one thing I have to give kudos to Xactly is about how they are able to be really engaged with their customers on their day-to-day processing, as well as challenges. I think that is very commendable.
